The course
We perform this treatment as a single session — a series is not required.
Our approach
The whole face, and in the extended variant the neck as well. There are more lines, so the session runs longer and asks for good tolerance. A consultation always comes first — HIFU is not for every skin, and we decline honestly when we see no indication.
Who it is for
For laxity across the whole face, with decent skin quality and realistic expectations.
How it works
A qualifying consultation, zone mapping, work at two or three depths, cooling.
How to prepare
- Remove jewellery from the treated area, including small earrings.
- Tell us about every implant, dental ones included.
- Eat something beforehand — the session is long and easier on a full stomach.
- Come without makeup, or leave 10 minutes to remove it — we will do it together.
- Tell us about every medication and supplement, including the “irrelevant” ones.
- Skip strong acids and retinol for 24 hours before the visit.
Aftercare
- Mild swelling and tenderness can last up to 3 days — a normal response.
- Avoid sauna, hot baths and intense effort for a week.
- The effect builds gradually over 8–12 weeks as collagen rebuilds.
Contraindications
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Active inflammation, skin infection, active cold sores
- Isotretinoin use, and 6–12 months after finishing the therapy
- Autoimmune conditions in a flare
- Cancer during treatment
- Tendency to keloid scarring
- Fresh tan
- Pacemaker and other implanted electronic devices
- Metal implants in the treated area
- Epilepsy
- Thyroid conditions when treating the neck — your doctor’s approval is required
